Hard Sweet Biscuits Line

Food Processing

The Polin Industrial Line represents a comprehensive solution for the high-capacity production of hard sweet biscuits, engineered to meet industrial demands with output capabilities reaching up to 3,000 kilograms per hour. Designed for scalability and flexibility, the system integrates all critical stages of the biscuit-making process—from dough preparation to final packaging—ensuring consistent product quality and operational efficiency. Each component of the line is developed with precision engineering, supported by Polin’s in-depth industry know-how.

The process begins with an array of mixing solutions tailored to accommodate different recipe requirements. These mixers are followed by advanced dough feeding systems, ensuring uniform and continuous delivery to the forming section. Depending on production needs, the line can be configured with various sheeting equipment setups, including models with or without lamination features. This versatility allows manufacturers to produce a wide range of hard sweet biscuit textures and shapes. The rotary cutter unit, available in one- or two-roll versions, works in tandem with optional ancillary components such as decorating units, sugar and salt sprinklers, enhancing both functionality and product appeal.

Once the dough is formed and decorated, it passes through the baking stage, where customers can choose from Cyclothermic, Direct Gas Fired, or Hybrid ovens, with two- or three-zone configurations depending on the thermal profile desired. This ensures precise control over baking conditions, resulting in optimal texture and flavor development. Post-baking, the line includes cooling conveyors that stabilize the product before it is collected by a stacker or “Penny stacker” system. Finally, the biscuits are conveyed to the packaging line, which is seamlessly integrated to facilitate high-speed, efficient collection and downstream automation.
