The waxing or oiling station is designed to apply a coating to the final product, serving multiple purposes: enhancing visual appeal, preventing sticking, and aiding in moisture retention within the packaged item.

Typically installed prior to the main cooling or conditioning tunnel in most extrusion production lines, the waxing unit occupies minimal space and can be easily bypassed for products that do not require this process.

The station features a jacketed design, allowing for the circulation of temperature-controlled water to maintain the wax or oil at its optimal operating temperature. Additionally, the unit can be equipped with various grooved guiding rollers to ensure consistent and effective application, tailored to the specific characteristics of each product.
